The 3D Model Recognition system enhances the ability to exchange mathematical models between organizations using different CAD systems by recognizing the image of a KOMPAS-3D model imported through intermediate formats (XT, ACIS, STEP, IGES).
The main advantage of the system is that, as a result of the conversion, a three-dimensional model with a Construction Tree is obtained, enabling quick and convenient modifications to the imported model.
Additionally, the use of this application significantly reduces the time required to recreate models obtained from other CAD systems in KOMPAS-3D.
