03 The Regulator Handle

In this course, you’ll create the regulator handle model from scratch using the “Revolution Element” and the “Revolution Surface” commands. You’ll restrict extrusion with a surface, try to use chamfers and fillets with different settings, know how to deal with constraints, add annotations to the 3D model, and generate the handle drawing.

01. Creating the Sketch (5:17)
In this lesson, we’ll create a sketch using the "Autoline" command and explore constraints.
02. Shaping the handle (4:33)
In this lesson, we'll create an extrusion element constrained by the surface, edit the sketch using the "Mirror" and "Trim Curve" commands, and look how the "Wireframe" display style works.
03. Adding the Base, Fillets, and Chamfers. (3:34)
This video explains how to use the "Full Fillet" command and some settings of the "Fillet" command.
04. Annotations in the 3D Model (4:28)
In this video, you'll see how to add annotations to the 3D model.
05. Creating the Drawing (4:34)
In this video, we’ll generate the drawing of the handle and transfer the annotations from the model.
