ASCON took a next step as a part of its strategy to target Indian market, presenting its KOMPAS-3D software at Machine Tools & Cutting Fair 2026 in Pune, Maharashtra — a region famous as a center of engineering and industrial software.
The exhibition dedicated to machine tools, automation, and digital manufacturing took place from April 9th to 11th 2026 in Pune International Exhibition & Convention Centre.
Visitors to ASCON's C27 booth were drawn to a new release of KOMPAS-3D v24 that features enhanced product performance, high stability with large assemblies, and new reverse engineering capabilities that are in high demand.
Over the course of three exhibition days hundreds of companies visited ASCON booth to see live demonstrations, get hands-on experience of KOMPAS-3D and participate in detailed conversations about KOMPAS-3D functionality. Among the most demanded topics for product demonstrations were parametric 2D and 3D modeling, sheet metal design, reverse engineering along with deviation analysis, and engineering calculations.
