ASCON is pleased to announce its collaboration with O.P. Jindal University (OPJU) as part of ASCON Academic Program expansion in the Indian market. Under this initiative, ASCON is providing the university with 50 licenses of KOMPAS-3D, its powerful 3D modeling software, for use in the university's educational process. In addition, students will receive free student licenses so they can practice and develop their skills at home.
OPJU is well-known for its strong mechanical engineering focus with hands-on, industry-related education and modern prototyping facilities. This is why integrating KOMPAS-3D is important: it gives students professional-grade CAD tools suitable for real engineering workflows, reinforcing the department's mission to bridge classroom theory and industry practice.
The collaboration builds on OPJU's successful participation in the BRICS Hi-Tech Future Skills Competition 2026, where the university became one of the finalists in the "Mechanical Design CAD" discipline, with ASCON as a partner of the competition.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening industry–academia collaboration, empowering students with industry-relevant CAD skills, and building a future-ready engineering workforce.
