ASCON at «KIOGE–2006» Fair, Kazakhstan
New KOMPAS-3D implementations for Kazakhstan industry
ASCON reviews the participation at "Oil and Gas" exhibition of "KIOGE-2006", which took place in October 3-6 in Alma-Ata. Kazakhstan' economy is dynamically developing today. In many respects this development is provided by the heavy growth of oil and gas sector. Machine-building for its turn provides extractive branches of domestic industry for the required scopes of high quality production. That is why there is not any amazing in the fact that each year country's enterprises shows larger interest in new products and technologies of ASCON for industrial and building design and preproduction automation in machine-building. Due to this fact ASCON substantially retains the leading positions in the market of CAD and PDM in Kazakhstan. "KIOGE" exhibition gave an excellent chance for enterprise experts to learn more about new implementations of the company.
The software offered at ASCON's showcase was addressed to the executives, experts and leading stuff of the research and development departments and IT-services. Visitors had an opportunity to familiarize with ASCON's powerful software complex. The demonstration of its base components (the system of engineering data management – LOODSMAN:PLM, the system of three-dimensional solid modelling - KOMPAS-3D V8 Plus and CAPP system - VERTIACAL) took place.
Showcase action underlined the new KOMPAS-3D V8 Plus. Live-demonstration was running daily; moreover the visitors had an opportunity to participate in masterclass for design in KOMPAS-3D. ASCON' showcase visitors and masterclass participants deservedly estimated accelerated calculating speed and powerful functionality in the area of 3D-modelling and design-drawing documentation creating.
Distinguishing feature of all ASCON's showcase actions is effective consulting. ASCON' leading experts were minutely answering for questions about use of the systems, their integration, efficiency for an enterprise. At visitor's pleasure a special demonstration of various program modules was holding here at the showcase. Exhibitions are also areas for negotiations concerned with further partnership, development and expansion of the products. In this regard "KIOGE" wasn't an exception.
And general statistics of the exhibition in summary: More than 500 companies from 38 countries took part in the exhibition. They presented their produce and services for more than 15 thousands of oil and gas experts. This year delegate quantity became the most for all "KIOGE" history. High status of Kazakhstan as one of the leading oil and gas powers underlines the level of the exhibition.
"KIOGE-2006" was held with the official support of Department of Energy and Mineral resource of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC "National company "KazMunaiGas", Alma-ata administration, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the legation the participating countries.
